Looking "Tour Ready"
Operating Procedure
Our goal is to look our very best at all times. We never know when a customer/potential customer will stop in for a visit/tour. We must put our best foot forward at all times and be sure to keep our facility clean and ‘tour ready’.
Exterior
-
Make sure all debris in parking lot and in front of the building is picked up.

Water the plants, pull weeds, sweep outside entrance.

Vestibule
-
Sweep, mop, dust as needed.
-
Wash windows/doors; make sure they are fingerprint/debris free.
-
Replace any old/damaged signs on windows/bulletin board.
Lobby
-
Counters should be cleaned and organized; nothing laying around on floor or anywhere in eyes view.

Doors, walls and furniture should be clean at all times.
-
Sweep and mop throughout the day as needed.

Make sure all retail shelves/walls are dusted and organized; replenish as needed.
Grooming
-
Grooming Room should be as neat and tidy as possible during working hours.
Laundry Room
-
Floors should be swept and mopped as needed.
-
Sinks clean and dirt and food free.
-
Window sill empty and dusted; window washed.
-
Bedding should be neat and organized by size.
-
Pet items brought back to rooms when cleaned.
-
Dishes should be cleaned and dried promptly. (refer to SOP on dishwashing)
Kitchen
-
Sink, stove and counters should be clean and organized and free of dishes/food/papers.
-
Swept and mopped as needed throughout the day.
-
Food carts wiped down after each use.
Outside Greens
-
Clear of poop - must be picked up immediately; clear of pet toys, leaves and debris.
-
Free of bottles/cleaning supplies.
-
Poop buckets are emptied daily; more if needed.
-
Walls, fencing, doors, windows cleaned; misc. toys picked up.
East/West
-
Make sure they are cleaned every day, clear of cleaning supplies, clutter, water jugs out of view.

Empty baskets with bags, garbage, etc.
-
Outside runs clean/organize as needed.
-
Refer to East/West SOP.
Cat Room
-
Make sure departure rooms are cleaned asap.
-
Make sure no food, bags or garbage on counters/floors; everything clean and clear.
-
Sweep/vacuum cat tree.
-
Sweep/mop the floor as needed.
-
Refer to cat room SOP.
Bathrooms
-
Clean both bathrooms daily and throughout the day as needed.
-
Wash toilets, sink, mirrors, paper towel holder, etc.
-
Wash walls as needed.
-
Sweep/mop floors daily or as needed.
-
Empty trash daily.
-
Make sure toilet paper/paper towels are full.
-
Refer to bathroom cleaning SOP.
Luxury Hallways
-
Make sure all departure rooms are cleaned during shift.
-
There should be a kuranda bed with proper bedding in every room.
-
Make sure all rooms have bowls.
-
Hallways should be clear and free of debris.
-
Sweep/mop throughout the day as needed.
-
Refer to Luxury SOP.
Mini Mansions
-
Make sure all departure rooms are cleaned during shift
-
No debris on floor or on top of mini mansions
-
Floors should be swept and mopped and as needed
-
Windows/doors should be clean and hair free
-
Walls/trim wiped down as needed
-
