Group Play Restrictions

Internal Policies

The following internal policies are designed to ensure the following:

• All guests of Paws Pet Resort that participate in Group Play have minimal risk of harming another dog.
• All guests of Paws Pet Resort that participate in Group Play have minimal risk of harming a staff member.
• Mature Intact male (un-neutured) and female (un-spayed) dogs do not have an opportunity to interact with other dogs.

Evaluations

• If an owner wants their dog to play with other dogs, new dogs must be evaluated during their first visit to Paws Pet Resort to ensure they are suitable for group activities.
• AFTER the dog has been evaluated, their animal profile MUST be updated in Gingr. Assign the Small, Medium, Big, or Individal play icon to the animal's account. 
• Add notes of play style and temperament in the animal notes section in Gingr after evaluation is completed. 
• The First Time checklist must be completed for every single dog's first day. Click here to view the checklist.

Puppies

• Any puppy that is under 6 months is recommended for our puppy program.
  • ANY DOG OVER 8 MONTHS AND NOT FIXED CANNOT PLAY WITH OTHER DOGS! 

Intact male (un-neutured) and female (un-spayed)

ANY MALE dog over the age of 8 months old that is Intact (Not Neutered) is NOT ALLOWED to participate in group play and their Gingr animal profile must have the Individual play icon.

ANY FEMALE dog over the age of 8 months old that is Intact (Not Spayed) is NOT ALLOWED to participate in group play and their Gingr animal profile must have the Individual play icon.
