Room Assignments and Size Requirements

Operating Procedure

This procedure is designed to ensure that all arriving guests have been assigned an appropriate room to reside in during their entire stay at Paws Pet Resort & Spa.

Boarding/Lodging: 

Standard Dog Boarding:

• Mini Mansions: Book these rooms for dogs under 25Lbs by default, unless requested otherwise.
• East: Short/Weekend stays, use this hallway first! 
• North: use next (ONLY IF IT IS OPEN). Use North for ONLY long stays (5 days +).
• West: if North is not open, use this hallway. If North is open, use after North and East are booked.
• In-Between: Use after the preceding areas are full.
• Outside West: Use after the preceding areas are full.

Luxury Dog Boarding:

• 1st Luxury Hallway (a.k.a. New Luxuries): Use first.
• 2nd Luxury Hallway (a.k.a. Old Luxuries): Use after 1st hallway is full. If there are any very large breeds or families with multiple pets, reserve a King Suite (LK) for them if available.

Cat Boarding:

• Use CR 1 - CR 9 first. 
  • ​​​​​​​Note: If there are multiple cats in the same family, we can fit a maximum of two cats per room.
  • Note: CR 2 and CR 4 can be connected into one large area, if a family with multiple pets want the extra large space. 
• Use both portable units after CR 1 - CR 9 are used.
  • Note: If any cats cannot fit through the porthole in CR 1 - CR 9, assign them to a Portable Unit.

Daycare:

•  Save "Jumbo" rooms for very large dogs or families with multiple pets.
