Phone Calls
Overview
The vast majority of our sales come from phone calls - it's pretty important! This overview will outline some more information on how to ensure phone calls are conducted properly.
Adding a '1' when dialing outside numbers
- Whenever you are dialing a phone number that does not start with '203' or '860', you must input the number 1 before dialing the number. If this is not done, the call will never go through.
Smile when on the phone!
- Customers can pick up on your energy over the phone. Even though the customer cannot see you, smiling when speaking with customers over the phone can really increase the energy on the call.
When you don't know the response to a question
- If a customer asks you something, and you don't know the answer, please ask one of your coworkers or a manager. Never assume anything - we want to make sure we are giving customers truthful responses.
